Cassia’s Park View community in Buffalo, MN is hiring a Flex Culinary Assistant. This entry-level role offers comprehensive training, a $1,000 bonus, and a clear path to growth within healthcare dining services.

Shifts include Days and Evenings with a $2 shift differential, and wage range $18.78–$21 per hour depending on experience. Work across Park View and Park Terrace facilities, assisting with food prep, service, and kitchen duties while delivering excellent resident-focused service.

Qualifications

• Experience in restaurant or healthcare preferred but not required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
• Excellent customer service and hospitality skills.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through stations: food prep, serving, dishwashing, and kitchen cleaning.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents, staff, and families.
• Work within the department to provide quality and nutritious meals and service to residents.
• Assist with food preparation and serving meals to residents.
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary dietary department.
• Wash dishes and clean the kitchen and dining rooms.
• Assist residents, employees, and guests with a broad range of dietary needs.

Park View, a Cassia community, is hiring a self-motivated, energetic Flex Culinary Assistant to join our team in Buffalo, MN!This is a great opportunity for those seeking entry-level work or wanting to learn and grow in a healthcare setting. No experience is needed as we will provide training to set you up for success. In addition to generous benefits, we are offering a $1,000 Bonus!

This position is aunique approach to help cover for employees on leave of absences, on scheduled vacations, or other open shifts. You will be working Day and Evening shifts at both our Assisted Living (Park Terrace) and Skilled Nursing Facility (Park View). They are connected to one another. Also, in addition to Culinary Server duties, you may be covering for Prep Cooks as well.

Position Type: Full-Time, Flex, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule

Shifts Available (Including Every Other Weekend):
Days6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Evenings11:30 AM - 8:00 PM
(Availability to work both required)

Wage Range: $18.78 to $21 / hour depending on experience

Shift Differential: $2 / hour

Bonus: $1,000

Culinary Assistant Responsibilities:
