The Fountains at Hosanna! in Lakeville, MN is hiring a Culinary Assistant to serve meals in the dining room and for to-go orders. The role supports residents with dietary needs and provides a welcoming dining experience in a community focused on warm, friendly service.

This part-time position offers an evening shift (4:00pm-7:00pm) with a two-week schedule. Training on the EMenu System and restaurant-style service is provided as you join Ebenezer's caring team.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience required.
• High School Diploma preferred; 1 year experience preferred

Job Overview

The Fountains at Hosanna! is conveniently located in Lakeville, adjacent to Hosanna Church. We are less than a mile from Highway I-35 and near County 77. The Fountains offers seniors 92 Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care apartments. We are known for our exceptional staff, who create a warm, friendly, fun community.

The Culinary Assistant is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents.

Schedule includes;

• 8 hours every two weeks ; Part Time
• 4:00pm-7:00pm Shift
• Block Schedule:
  • Week 1: Wednesday
  • Week 2: Saturday

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
  • Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
  • Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
  • Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
  • Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
  • Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
  • Follows proper work flow to stay on task.Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
  • Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
  • Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
  • Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
  • Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
