Job summary

Meadows on Fairview Senior Living in Wyoming, MN seeks a Culinary Assistant/Server to provide dining room and to-go meal service for residents. The role offers 10 hours every two weeks, with day/evening shifts from 4 PM to 6:30 PM and an every other weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include serving meals, maintaining a clean dining area, accommodating dietary needs, and upholding safety and sanitation standards. EMenu System experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience.
• High School Diploma.
• 1 year of previous experience.

Job Overview

Meadows on Fairview Senior Living, is Ebenezer’s 51 Unit Assisted Living and Transitional Care Community located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents. We are looking for a Culinary Assistant/Server to join our team at Meadows on Fairview Assisted Living in Wyoming, MN! This position is responsible for dining room and to go meal service to residents.

This nutrition services schedule includes;

• 10 hours every two weeks
• Day/evening; 4PM - 6:30PM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and ensures that the dining area is clean and inviting:
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets resident’s specific dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set-up.
• Follows proper work flow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant style service.
• Ensures all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promotes and encourages positive resident relations and satisfaction:
• Welcomes residents and initiates conversation.
• Accommodates resident requests such as requests for food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listens to any complaints and responds appropriately. Refers issues to Executive Director and Culinary Director as appropriate.
