Ebenezer is seeking a full-time Culinary Assistant/Server in Red Wing, MN. In this role, you will serve meals, ensure the dining area is clean, and support our residents' dining experience. Schedule: Week 1: Mon: 7:30 a‑4 p Wed: 6 a‑2:30 p Thur: 6 a‑2:30 p Fri: 7:30 a‑4 p
Week 2: Mon: 6 a‑2:30 p Tues: 6 a‑2:30 p Wed 7:30 a‑4 p Sat and Sun: 7:30 a‑4 p
Full‑time schedule, total of 72 hours in two weeks, day shifts. Full benefits package eligible.

Culinary Assistant/Server Position

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and ensure the dining area is clean and inviting.
• Follow meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offer resident meal choices and meet specific dietary needs.
• Use proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follow the dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follow proper procedures for dining room set‑up.
• Maintain proper workflow to stay on task.
• Learn and become proficient with EMenu System and restaurant‑style service.
• Ensure all dishes (including flatware, drinkware, etc.) are washed, sanitized, and put away before end of shift.
• Promote and encourage positive resident relations and satisfaction.
• Welcome residents and initiate conversation.
• Accommodate resident requests such as food substitution, change in seating, etc.
• Listen to complaints and respond appropriately; refer issues to Executive Director or Culinary Director as appropriate.

Required Qualifications

• Less than 1 year of experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1 year of experience.
