Job summary

Ivy Tech Bloomington campus invites qualified adjuncts to teach 8-week Hospitality courses for the upcoming semester. Typical adjuncts teach 10 hours per week, with both day and evening options, on campus at least 40 minutes before class. Compensation is $46.75 per contact hour for student-facing hours.

• Must have or be working toward an associate or higher degree.
• Professional certification in Hospitality fields with 2+ years industry experience.
• Possess Workplace Specialist License from Indiana DOE in relevant occupations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver HOSP coursework per syllabus.
• Prepare outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Maintain accurate student records and grades.
• Engage with students to promote learning and positive experiences.
• Comply with FERPA, campus policies, and safety procedures.
• Proactively use available technology to enhance instruction.
