Job summary

Ivy Tech Bloomington campus is seeking adjunct faculty to teach 8 week Hospitality courses for the upcoming semester. Specifically looking for instructors for HOSP 105, HOSP 212 in the first 8 weeks (1/12/26–3/8/26) and HOSP 103, HOSP 210, HOSP 111, HOSP 211 in the second 8 weeks (3/16/26–5/10/26).

Typical adjuncts work 10 hours per week, two days with 5 hours each, with day and evening courses. Adjuncts are paid $46.75 per contact hour (student-facing).

Qualifications

• Adjunct Faculty teaching Hospitality courses; on-campus instruction
• Ability to manage classroom technology and follow college syllabi

Responsibilities

• Facilitates student learning by delivering assigned classes in accordance with College policy and course objectives.
• Develops/maintains course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials.
• Maintains accurate student records, grades, and other requirements.
• Engages with students with active classroom teaching strategies.
• Interacts with students and co-workers professionally and adheres to policies.
• Ensures knowledge of emergency and safety procedures in classrooms and labs.
• Other duties as assigned within FERPA and regulatory requirements.
