Qualifications

• Instruct food service education program and produce graduates with identified skill deliverables.
• Establish and maintain a rigorous classroom structure reflecting professional standards.
• Ensure operations and food storage comply with laws and inspections.
• Plan menus, purchase supplies, and maintain inventory for continuous operation.
• Prepare students to complete the NOCTI Culinary Arts Prep Cook assessment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct food service education program producing graduates with identified skill deliverables.
• Establish and maintain a rigorous classroom structure modeled on professional kitchen brigade system.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food service laws and inspections.
• Plan menus, procure supplies, and manage inventory for ongoing operations.
• Communicate with correctional staff and class Coordinator; prepare reports and maintain records.
