Job summary

American Senior Communities is looking for a Culinary Aide to help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals by assisting with prep, service, and a clean work environment. You will partner with culinary leadership to tailor meals to resident needs and assist with meal setup and service.

The role emphasizes customer service, willingness to perform routine tasks, and teamwork with culinary staff.

Qualifications

• Requires commitment to customer service
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work alongside culinary team and leaders
• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred, if required by state/federal agencies

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meal items per menu and resident diets
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace by cleaning equipment as needed
