Job summary

American Senior Communities LLC is hiring a part-time Culinary Aide at North Park Nursing Center. You will assist with meal prep and service, help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, and partner with culinary leaders to ensure residents receive safe, nutritious and delicious meals.

The role involves setting up trays, coordinating with service staff, and supporting the culinary team to meet dietary requirements while fostering a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Required: Willingness to perform routine tasks and effectively work alongside culinary team and leaders
• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling
• Preferred: Prior restaurant server experience

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
