Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Aide for the Full-Time Evening Shift to support safe, nutritious meals for residents. You will assist with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean work environment in a supportive culinary team.

Ideal candidates have a commitment to customer service, willingness to perform routine tasks, and possibly prior restaurant server experience. Certifications in sanitation are preferred, with on-the-job training available.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling (preferred; can be earned on the job).
• Prior restaurant server experience (preferred).
• Commitment to customer service (required).
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders (required).

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in preparation and portions according to menu and diets.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.
