Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Aide at Betz Nursing Home in Indiana to support meal preparation, service, and kitchen cleanliness. You will work closely with culinary leaders to meet dietary needs and ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

The role requires a commitment to customer service and the ability to perform routine tasks alongside the culinary team. Certification in sanitation is preferred and can be earned during employment.

• Preferred: Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
