American Senior Communities is hiring a Culinary Aide at Lake Pointe Village in Indiana. You will help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious, and delicious meals by assisting with meal prep, service, and maintaining a clean work area.

This part-time role offers opportunities for growth through preceptors, mentorship, and ongoing training within a values-driven team that emphasizes compassion, accountability, relationships and excellence.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred; can be earned while employed.
• Prior restaurant server experience preferred.
• Commitment to customer service required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meals according to menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Keep equipment clean and sanitary.
