Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide at Stonebrooke Rehab to help ensure residents receive safe, nutritious meals by assisting with prep, service, and maintaining a clean kitchen.

You will partner with culinary leaders, assist with portioning, set up service trays, support the dining team, and uphold sanitation standards. ASC offers tuition reimbursement and mentorship programs to support professional development.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (can be earned while employed).
• Preferred: prior restaurant server experience.
• Required: commitment to customer service.
• Required: willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meals according to the menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Clean equipment as needed and maintain a sanitary workplace.
