Job summary

Canterbury Nursing Home, part of American Senior Communities, is hiring a Culinary Aide to support residents with safe, nutritious meals. This PRN 12p-8p shift involves meal prep, tray setup, service, and maintaining a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.

You will work with culinary leaders to meet dietary needs, follow safety guidelines, and contribute to a positive dining experience. Certification in sanitation is preferred but not required; training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with the culinary team and leaders.
• Sanitation certification preferred; can be earned after employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and portioning according to menu and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service.
• Clear and wash dishes; maintain a clean and sanitary workspace.
