Job summary

Maple Park Village, operated by American Senior Communities, is seeking a Culinary Aide to support meal prep, service, and a clean environment in Indianapolis-area facilities. You will work with the culinary team to ensure safe, nutritious meals for residents and help maintain a sanitary kitchen and dining area.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to menus and dietary needs, and delivering positive dining experiences for residents in a senior living community in Indiana.

Qualifications

• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.
• Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification preferred, if not required by authorities.
• Prior restaurant server experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leadership to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in meal preparation and portioning according to menu and diets.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and dining area.
