Job summary

Rosebud Village in Richmond, IN is hiring a full-time Culinary Aide to help prepare, portion, and serve nutritious meals for residents, while maintaining a clean and sanitary kitchen environment. You will partner with culinary leaders to meet dietary needs, set up service trays, assist with dishwashing, and support a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications include willingness to perform routine tasks and a commitment to customer service; preferred sanitation/safe food handling

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling preferred, unless required by state and federal agencies.
• Commitment to customer service.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to best meet the needs of residents to provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in the preparation and portions of meal items according to the menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Cleans equipment as needed, maintaining a clean and sanitary workplace.
