American Senior Communities seeks a dedicated Culinary Aide to support meal prep, service, and a sanitary kitchen environment for residents. This full-time role covers day and evening shifts, contributing to safe, nutritious, and enjoyable meals.

Responsibilities include assisting with meal preparation, portioning, tray setup, dishwashing, and maintaining cleanliness while collaborating with culinary leaders and staff to ensure a positive dining experience for residents.

Qualifications

• Certificate in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling is preferred and can be earned while employed.
• Previous restaurant server experience is preferred.
• Commitment to customer service is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with the culinary team and leaders is required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs.
• Assist in meal preparation and portioning according to menus and resident diets.
• Set up trays and carts for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace.
