Job summary

Brethren Care Village is seeking a Housekeeping Aide in Ashland, Ohio. Positions available: Full Time (Days, 7am-3:30pm) and Part Time (Days, 7am-1pm). Pay ranges from $12.50 to $14.30 per hour based on experience.

The role involves cleaning resident rooms, following infection control policies, and performing laundry. Candidates usually need a high school diploma or equivalent, though not strictly required; prior cleaning experience is a plus.

What You'll Do as a Housekeeping Aide:

• Cleans resident rooms and other assigned areas.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Assures that floors are free of hazardous debris.
• Performa tasks such as washing over-the-bed lights, pictures and objects on walls, wall washing, baseboards, etc. as assigned.
• Washes, dries, sorts, folds, and delivers residents personal laundry.
• Performs daily tasks in accordance with infection control and universal precaution policies and procedures.
• Maintains work area in clean and orderly manner.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements for a Housekeeping Aide:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Professional cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
