Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a Culinary Aide at Meadow Lakes in Mooresville, IN. Full-time and part-time hours are available to support residents with safe, nutritious meals and a clean dining environment.

Responsibilities include food prep, meal service, tray setup, dishwashing and kitchen sanitation, with opportunities for sanitation-certification and career growth within ASC.

Qualifications

• Required: Commitment to customer service
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work with culinary team and leaders
• Preferred: Sanitation/Safe Food Handling certification (can be earned on job)

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience
• Assist in preparation and portioning of meal items per menu and resident diets
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes
• Clean equipment and maintain a sanitary work area
