Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide at Avamere Richmond Beach Rehab in Shoreline, WA. The role involves preparing and serving meals to residents, adhering to dietary needs, and maintaining kitchen sanitation under the Culinary Services Manager's supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting with food prep, tray assembly, nourishing orders, and daily cleaning. CPR/BLS certification and a Food Handler card are required, with opportunities for training and growth

Qualifications

• Attention to detail for trays and sanitation.
• Knowledge of high standards of food service sanitation and safety.
• Maintains high personal hygiene and hair control.
• Interpersonal skills with staff and departments.
• Ability to learn and operate kitchen equipment.
• CPR/BLS certification active and maintained.
• Food Handlers card current with Health Department.
• Knowledge of dietary practices and long-term care regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves meals per residents' dietary needs and safety standards.
• Presents meals attractively and at proper temperatures; assists with prep.
• Inspects completed trays for accuracy and delivers to carts.
• Drives nourishment orders between meals as assigned.
• Assists daily cleaning of work areas, equipment, dishes, and floors.
• Complies with facility, state, and federal sanitation and safety policies.
• Attends orientation, training, and in-service education.
• Assists with inventorying and storing foods, supplies, and equipment.
