Avamere Living is seeking a on-call Culinary Aide in Tacoma, WA. You will prepare and serve meals, follow dietary needs, and maintain kitchen cleanliness under supervision. Responsibilities include assisting in kitchen tasks, sanitation, and inventory, with orientation and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification must be maintained during employment.
• Current Food Handlers card issued by local Health Department.
• Adhere to high sanitation and safety standards in food service.
• Maintain personal hygiene and hair control while on duty.
• Learn to operate kitchen equipment and follow dietary guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals according to residents' dietary needs.
• Maintain proper food handling, cleanliness, and hygiene in the kitchen.
• Wash dishes and assist with stocking and inventory tasks.
• Serve trays at correct temperature and inspect for accuracy.
• Follow facility procedures and participate in orientation and training.
