Job summary

Cubanitas in Milwaukee seeks a personable server to greet guests, take and deliver orders, and ensure a smooth dining experience. You will switch between stations efficiently, coordinate with the kitchen, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Prefer a minimum of one year of previous serving experience.
• Ability to effectively communicate in English (verbal and written).
• Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor.
• Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and/or beverages, take orders, deliver, and clear items.
• Check station setup and cleanliness before/during/after shift.
• Greet guests and explain specials and promotions.
• Input orders into the POS and inform kitchen of particulars.
• Retrieve orders from kitchen, confirm accuracy, and deliver to guests.
• Ascertain guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests.
