Job summary

Precise Systems is seeking a Senior RF Engineering Technician VI to support hands-on testing, troubleshooting, repair, and integration of Electronic Warfare and RF systems at Crane, Indiana. The technician will work with engineers and test teams to diagnose hardware issues, configure test equipment, support laboratory and field test events, and perform board-level repair.

This role requires in-person support.

Qualifications

• Ten years of related electronics experience in RF or Electronic Countermeasure systems.
• Ten years of related professional experience in electronics technology, test and measurement, RF systems, or Electronic Countermeasure systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of RF, microwave, and Electronic Warfare systems.
• Design and configure test setups, conduct experiments, collect technical data, and support development or improvement of test methods and special test equipment.
• Repair, fabricate, install, and modify cables, modules, assemblies, and electronic hardware required for integration and test activities.
• Support engineers during design, integration, test, and failure-analysis activities and provide recommendations to resolve technical or operational deficiencies.
• Provide technical support during laboratory, field, and range test events and serve as a subject matter expert for assigned test equipment and materials.
• Travel up to 50% and lift more than 20 pounds as required.
