Qualifications

• Experience and/or education in banking, compliance, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• General knowledge of BSA, AML, and OFAC requirements preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to review large volumes of data accurately.
• Ability to recognize unusual cash activity and reporting exceptions.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Proficient with MS Office applications and bank software systems.

Responsibilities

• Review daily CTR reports to identify reportable transactions.
• Prepare, validate, and file CTRs within regulatory timeframes.
• Review transactions for accuracy, structuring indicators, and exceptions.
• Research customer transactions and obtain supporting documentation.
• Communicate CTR requirements and corrections with branch personnel.
• Maintain CTR logs, supporting docs, and audit trails.
• Monitor CTR deadlines and ensure timely reporting.
• Assist with exempt person reviews and documentation maintenance.
• Escalate suspicious activity to the BSA Officer for review.
• Assist with regulator/auditor requests related to CTR reporting.
• Participate in BSA/AML training and internal monitoring.
• Suggest process improvements to improve accuracy and efficiency.
