Job summary

Artsy seeks a Chief Technology Officer to lead the combined engineering organization through growth and AI-driven transformation. You will own engineering, infrastructure, and architectural strategy, mentoring a global team and aligning tech decisions with product and business goals.

Reporting to the CEO, you will shape a future-ready architecture, unify two legacy platforms, and drive security, data integrity, and scalable infrastructure across the company.

Qualifications

• Led engineering organizations through periods of significant change, e.g., post-acquisition integration or rapid scaling.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI into engineering workflows and evaluating architectures.
• Bias toward speed with a culture of shipping and continuous improvement.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive decisions and momentum.

Responsibilities

• Lead AI-augmented development workflows across the engineering org.
• Mentor engineers, product managers, designers, and operators in AI-driven ways of working.
• Advance the org's architecture, tooling, and delivery cadence for rapid experimentation.
