Job summary

StevenDouglas is seeking a Chief Technology Officer for a Boca Raton-based investment firm. The role owns technology strategy, data architecture, client-facing platform, cybersecurity, and vendor delivery, with decision rights on build vs buy and standards.

Reporting to the COO and with access to the CEO on major technology risk, the CTO will shape the platform, define data standards, and unify core systems into a single operating environment.

Qualifications

• Technology leadership experience in an investment firm or similar financial services setting.
• Deep data architecture knowledge, data modeling, governance, and reporting.
• Product ownership of a client-facing digital platform from discovery through delivery.
• Proven systems integration across core business platforms and vendor tools.
• Experience with cloud environments, security programs, and regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own multi-horizon technology strategy, roadmap, and budget.
• Establish data strategy, ownership models, architecture, and data quality standards.
• Integrate client engagement, onboarding, finance, and reporting into one platform.
• Ensure AML/KYC compliance workflows and regulatory documentation.
• Drive automation and govern AI use cases involving client data.
• Lead a small tech function, hire/coach a Product Manager, and manage vendors.
