Job summary

Wyatt Partners is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to define and lead technology, data and AI strategy for a growing private equity platform. The role is senior and internal-facing, with responsibility for architecture, data platforms and security across the organization.

The CTO will shape the technology environment, lead teams, manage vendors, and collaborate with investment professionals to enhance workflows, governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership with experience in complex firms.
• Experience shaping technology strategy for data and AI.
• Proven ability to design scalable data platforms and architectures.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, data engineering and security.
• Experience evaluating build vs buy for platforms and tools.
• Ability to manage vendors, partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the firm’s technology strategy, architecture and roadmap.
• Assess the current technology environment and define future-state architecture.
• Own core infrastructure, applications, integrations and platforms.
• Determine which capabilities to build internally, buy externally or partner.
• Build a scalable technology operating model for a growing investment firm.
• Set standards for cybersecurity, resilience, privacy and technology risk.
• Manage vendors, implementation partners and external service providers.
• Build and lead internal technology capabilities as needs evolve.
• Establish governance while preserving speed in an investment environment.
