Nametag seeks an operations-focused leader to serve as the operational center of gravity for our engineering organization in Ann Arbor. The role blends executive support, chief of staff duties, and engineering program management to keep initiatives visible and on track.

You'll own the CTO's calendar and travel, drive the engineering cadence, capture decisions, and summarize status for leadership. This is a hybrid, in-office role with AI-forward workflows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in executive support or related roles.
• Excellent organizational and follow-through abilities.
• Ability to sit in on engineering discussions and take useful notes.
• Strong written communication under time pressure.
• Discretion handling confidential information.
• Comfort with startup ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Proficiency with modern software tools and AI assistance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering operating cadence, track initiatives and risks.
• Coordinate cross-functional work including audits and recruiting logistics.
• Capture decisions, prepare briefing material, and track actions to completion.
• Own the CTO's calendar, travel, expenses, and meeting prep.
• Use AI tooling for drafting, summarizing, and status updates; enable repeatable workflows.
