Job summary

Nametag in Ann Arbor, MI is seeking an Eng Operations and Chief of Staff to the CTO. This hybrid role blends executive support, chief of staff duties, and engineering program management to keep initiatives visible and on track.

You'll work closely with the CTO, coordinating cadence, capturing decisions, and surfacing risks while embracing AI-assisted tooling to improve speed and accuracy in communications and status updates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in executive support, chief of staff, program or project management, or business operations.
• Exceptional organization and follow-through without being asked.
• Comfort with technical subject matter and engineering discussions.
• Strong written communication under time pressure.

Responsibilities

• Engineering program management: run the operating cadence, track initiatives, and maintain documentation.
• Chief of staff work: capture decisions, prepare briefings, and safeguard sensitive information.
• Executive support: manage CTO calendar, travel, and meeting prep.
• Work AI-forward: build repeatable workflows and leverage AI for drafting and summarizing.
