Total Life is seeking a hands-on CTO to architect and build an AI-first telehealth platform for older adults. You will write production code weekly, own the technical vision, and work with leadership on the strategic roadmap.

Expect equity, a remote role across North America, and a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. As CTO, you will lead architecture, drive AI initiatives, and scale systems from zero to large-scale, ensuring secure, compliant care delivery.

Formación

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with startup or high-growth company.
• Active hands-on coder with experience shipping modern backend and frontend stacks.
• Shipped AI/LLM-powered products in production including agentic workflows.
• Strong product and design instincts for user-focused experiences.
• Ability to translate business strategy into a technical roadmap and communicate with leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Write, review and ship code across the stack.
• Design and scale AI systems that integrate into clinical workflows.
• Partner with leadership to convert strategy into a technical roadmap; make build-vs-buy decisions.
• Champion product design and customer experience for an aging population using telehealth.
• Lead growth-focused features and tooling to improve engagement and retention.
• Oversee marketing technology integration and data flows to support growth.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance, security, uptime and data integrity as the platform scales.
• Build and lead the engineering team and culture.
