Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking an experienced RN for the CTSICU at Allegheny General Hospital. The unit provides post-surgical ICU care for cardiac, thoracic, vascular and transplant patients, with single-occupancy rooms and advanced monitoring.

This full-time position requires PA RN licensure (or multi-state eNLC), CPR certification, and compliance with background checks. 72-hour biweekly shifts, weekend and holiday rotations, and union affiliation are included.

Qualifications

• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
• Act 73 FBI Background Clearance
• Current PA RN licensure or eNLC
• CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates clinical assessment skills and care planning skills.
• Provides safe and effective care for the age population served.
• Directs and manages patient care delivery by the team.
• Collaborates with the multidisciplinary team from admission to discharge.
• Assesses learning needs of patient and family and provides education.
