NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator for the CTICU on the 5HS, with a full-time rotating schedule across the NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center campus. The role focuses on leading educational programs, developing curricula, and mentoring nursing staff.

Requires a Master’s degree in Nursing and NYS RN licensure, with at least 4 years of Medical-Surgical experience.

Qualifications

• Clinical mentorship and career guidance to nursing staff.
• Develop course curriculums and lesson plans based on learning needs assessments.
• Lead, plan, implement and evaluate educational programs for the nursing staff.

Responsabilités

• Lead, plan, implement and evaluate educational programs for the nursing staff and participate in unit-based huddles and clinical rounds to change bedside practice.
• Assess staff learning needs and develop curricula and lesson plans accordingly.
• Provide clinical mentorship and career guidance to staff as needed.
• Support and guide the next generation of top-talent nurses through education and mentorship.
• Focus on clinical support of new graduates and recently hired nursing team.
