Job Description

TMC Technologies is seeking a SME-level Cybersecurity Analyst to join the FBI's ESOC Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) Team. The CTI Team monitors and analyzes external cyber threat data to provide insights and actionable intelligence about potential threats. The candidate must be a US citizen with an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, due to federal contract requirements. This position supports a contract bid with an expected award in mid-June 2025.

The CTI Cybersecurity Analyst - SME will:

• Monitor open-source websites for hostile content targeting organizational or partner interests.
• Gather information from private and proprietary sources, including subscriptions and information-sharing communities.
• Analyze data to identify threats, vulnerabilities, and trends.
• Enrich data with context, attributing threats to actors or groups.
• Provide tactical intelligence to the SOC, including IOCs and TTPs.
• Offer strategic intelligence to anticipate long-term trends and threat motivations.
• Assist during incidents by providing real-time updates and guidance.
• Identify vulnerabilities and potential zero-day threats for patching priorities.
• Participate in information-sharing communities and collaborate with organizations.
• Educate SOC analysts on threats and defensive strategies.
• Provide reports and briefings to stakeholders.
• Understand intelligence fusion and perform threat factor analysis.
• Apply frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK, and understand APTs, threat modeling, geopolitical factors, and legal considerations.
• Utilize OSINT tools, understand incident response, and stay informed on industry trends.
• Evaluate and synthesize threat data, develop reports, conduct threat hunting, and mentor junior analysts.
• Conduct post-incident analyses and problem-solving.

Job Requirements

• US Citizenship and active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum of 10 years relevant experience.
• Experience with IOCs, TTPs, and threat frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Experience with OSINT tools.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, or CCTIA required; Splunk Enterprise Security certification required.
• Preferred: GCTI, Microsoft Sentinel certifications.
