Job summary

Jordan School District seeks a Teacher Specialist FT in CTE Workforce Development to connect classrooms with local employers for internships and apprenticeships.

You will visit partners, analyze labor data to guide opportunities, and collaborate with instructors to align learning with work experiences. A Utah license and 5+ years of experience are required; strong relationship-building and data skills are essential. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• Compliance with Utah State Board of Education license requirements.
• Five or more years of applicable experience.
• Valid Utah driver's license and reliable personal transportation for district travel.

Responsibilities

• Build partnerships with local employers, community organizations and partners to create work-based learning sites.
• Visit and listen to partners to ensure placements are safe, meaningful and well matched to student goals.
• Use local and national employment data to identify in-demand sectors and guide partnerships.
• Collaborate with internship instructors so classroom learning aligns with real-world work.
• Lead and support professional learning and participate in CTE teams as assigned.
• Maintain accurate records of partners and placements and share results with district leadership.
