Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid Texas CTE teaching certification (preferred).
• Minimum three years of teaching experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and advocate for paid/unpaid practicum opportunities for high school students in AISD.
• Maintain and submit a weekly log of employer contacts to CTE staff.
• Coordinate with counselors to place students in practicum and prepare for interviews.
• Develop and implement mentor training and a mentorship curriculum with teachers and volunteers.
• Organize career talks, guest speakers, and job shadowing events.
