Job summary

Spring Branch Independent School District is seeking a Technology Applications Teacher to implement instruction in designated subject areas, using digital and physical delivery methods. The role requires planning personalized lessons that align with the district curriculum and TEA guidelines.

The candidate will utilize approved learning management systems, collaborate with staff to tailor instruction for diverse learners, and engage families through conferences and ongoing communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• Valid Texas Teacher Certificate or Teaching Certificate from out of state appropriate for position.
• Technology Applications certification required or must meet district's requirements for DOI CTE waiver.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver instruction physically and digitally using approved learning management systems.
• Adhere to district curriculum guidelines and TEA/board policies in instruction.
• Modify curricula for students with IEPs in collaboration with special education staff.
• Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process and engage students.
• Coordinate with teacher aides and volunteers; supervise assignments as needed.
• Establish open communication with parents, students, and staff; conduct conferences as needed.
