Job summary

Louisiana Delta Community College is seeking an Enrollment Pathway Specialist to support adult education, workforce, and academic students in Ruston, LA. You will guide recruitment, advising, registration, and retention across CTE programs, coordinating with disability services and faculty.

This grant-funded, full-time role requires strong communication, teamwork, and data-driven coaching to improve student persistence and completion while aligning with LDCC’s Standards of Practice and program

Qualifications

• Must be a professional, creative, and resourceful self-starter with a customer service orientation and a willingness to work with a diverse population.
• Associates Degree or higher in Education or Counseling or related human services field.
• Previous experience in Student Services a plus.
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Basic technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactive Academic & Retention Coaching to identify at-risk students using data systems.
• Comprehensive Academic Planning with course sequencing and graduation alignment.
• Individualized Support Coordination for students with learning needs and accommodations.
• Develop and support retention activities, study groups, and workshops.
• Onboarding and transition materials for orientation and graduation paths.
• CTE Pathway Collaboration across Career and Technical Education programs.
• Data-driven tracking of progress and reporting for federal funding.
• Outreach to regional high schools and community events about career pathways.
• Ensure standards of practice and proactive communication.
