Job summary

Rite of Passage is seeking a Career Technical Education Instructor for Miami Youth Academy in Miami, FL. The role involves administering all phases of the CTE programs and ensuring standards are met across Rite of Passage approved sites.

You will develop partnerships with higher education, state agencies, and local businesses, and explore funding opportunities to strengthen CTE offerings. A HS diploma and relevant certifications are required, with background checks and TB tests mandatory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Current or past Career and Technical Education Administrator’s certification is preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks, maintain confidentiality and work >40 hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administers all phases of the site’s CTE programs.
• Ensures standards for CTE programs are met in Rite of Passage approved programs.
• Develops and maintains relationships with higher education, state agencies, local businesses, and community organizations.
• actively seeks funding opportunities to enhance the CTE programs.
