The instructor will assess academic needs, design lesson plans, and mentor youth toward reaching their goals within a supportive program that values growth, safety, and positive behavior.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor preferred.
• Minimum two years relevant experience with youth.
• Ability to obtain industry credentials.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and guide youth in career/technical development.
• Assess academic needs and provide targeted instruction.
• Advise youth on career options and coursework.
• Develop hands-on lesson plans; use PPE and safety rules.
• Maintain youth records and progress evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with industry policies and training guidelines.
• Support crisis intervention and positive behavior guidance.
• Supervise activities and maintain classroom/shops.
