Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. seeks an instructor to provide industry-recognized instruction in the Career Technical Training Center.

The role focuses on guiding students toward completion, securing placement, and maintaining data integrity and confidentiality. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of teaching experience, state certification or accreditation, and preferably prior Job Corps involvement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one-year experience in teaching or related field required.
• Certified, licensed, or accredited in the state in which the center is located, or is accredited by a professional trade organization.
• For NTC, instructor must be certified by union or trade organization, or by a national trade certifying organization.
• Previous Job Corps experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
• Ensures Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals.
• Provide students with training leading to Career Technical Training completion and industry-recognized certifications.
• Provide students with job leads and monitors placement of all graduates.
• Ensure classroom is well organized and conducive to student learning.
• Holds students accountable for dress code and behavioral standards of conduct.
• Plan, prioritize and organize assignments to meet goals and deadlines.
• Mentors, monitors and models Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
• Provide high-quality supervision and management for the student population; take appropriate action as needed.
• Offer quality programs and services and pursue improvement and enhancement of programs.
