A $4,000 annual retention stipend is offered for eligible licensed educators in designated CTE hard-to-fill areas. Eligibility requires meeting all NCDPI licensure and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• NCDPI licensure and certification requirements for instruction in these CTE areas.
• Teachers must serve in the Hard-to-Fill position and return to the same position the following school year to qualify.

Responsibilities

• Teach in Classroom Teacher roles for Health, Science: Astronomy, Earth & Space, and General Science within CTE Health Sciences.
