Job summary

McHenry County College is seeking a CTE Grants Coordinator and Program Navigator to administer Perkins, REACH, and ROOTS grants, while directly supporting students in eligible healthcare programs.

Responsibilities include grant drafting, reporting, data tracking, and collaboration with Grants Office and supervisors. A bachelor’s is required; master’s preferred, with bilingual skills and experience in higher education.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; master’s preferred.
• Experience in higher education or community college setting.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) language skills.
• One year of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Draft grant applications, budgets and reports for Perkins, REACH, ROOTS.
• Track grant activities and spending; support budget modifications.
• Support purchasing for grant activities (equipment, supplies, contracts).
• Enter data and generate reports from ERP/college systems.
• Recruit and support students in REACH/ROOTS healthcare programs.
• Co-coach caseloads, provide referrals and track progress.
