Job summary

Alvin Community College is seeking a part-time Grant Coordinator to manage the Carl D. Perkins grant and support eligible CTE students. The role involves monitoring compliance, reports, and coordinating activities with faculty and offices.

It is limited to no more than 19 hours per week and may require some evening or weekend work. Required is a Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, plus one year of experience with students and in higher education.

Responsibilities

• Identify students eligible for Perkins support services.
• Monitor eligibility, progress, services and outcomes for grant compliance.
• Coordinate Perkins activities, deliverables and student support.
• Collect and report data on program outcomes and grant measures.
• Collaborate with faculty, Perkins Director, and offices to support initiatives.
• Develop and monitor Perkins student assistance budget and expenditures.
• Maintain grant records and related administrative functions.
• Provide student support and assist with Perkins/CTE activities.
