AdventHealth in Florida is seeking an imaging professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and manage patient care in a high-volume radiology department. The role involves preparing patients, positioning for exams, operating imaging equipment, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements include 1+ year of imaging experience, BLS certification, and strong communication skills. The position is full-time with day shifts and potential on-call duties, located in DADE CITY, FL.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sign on bonus for Eligible candidates
• Communicates effectively in writing and verbally with physicians, imaging personnel, students, and hospital staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Performs IV starts and administers contrast as required.

• Completes necessary hospital and medical imaging paperwork for each exam performed.
• Maintains technical operation of equipment, notifies service when necessary, and logs service calls or problems per department procedure.
• Maintains a clean work area for employees and patients, ensuring quality checks and equipment maintenance documentation.
• Performs imaging procedures while ensuring safety, adhering to radiation safety regulations to minimize exposure.
• Produces quality images accurately and promptly.
• Prepares patients for exams by providing information and instructions, and addressing their physical and emotional needs.
• Assists and positions patients during exams, observing and documenting any unusual occurrences.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
