Job summary

Emerus is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT and X-ray imaging at a technical level with minimal supervision. The role supports physicians, nurses and staff to deliver quality patient imaging and results.

The position requires ARRT radiography certification, BLS, and graduation from an AMA-approved Radiology program, with preferred CT certification and 2+ years in radiology, including CT and ER experience. Willingness to travel between facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiology Technology.
• ARRT registered in radiography; CT certification within 12 months.
• Current BLS certification.
• 2+ years radiologic/imaging experience; 1+ year CT and ER experience preferred.
• Proficiency with X-ray/CT equipment and PACS.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and supportive patient care to aid physicians, nurses and staff.
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment including X-Ray, CT, CR reader, and PACS.
• Perform imaging exams per policies and notify on-duty physician of results.
• Perform basic clinical procedures under physician or nurse supervision.
• Maintain documentation, logs, forms in paper and electronic formats.
• Travel to all facility locations as required.
• Attend meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.
