Job Description: Radiologic Technologist - CT Certified

Purpose: To perform patient exams with high skill, utilizing radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CAT scan equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images. Respond promptly to service requests.

Delegation of Authority: You are delegated the necessary authority, responsibility, and accountability to carry out your duties as a Radiologic Technologist - CT Certified.

Job Functions:

Perform duties related to radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, operating various equipment, maintaining safety protocols, and providing patient care. Use departmental systems like EPIC and PACs, ensure proper documentation, and adhere to safety and sterile procedures. Participate in ongoing education and maintain required credits.

Provide age-appropriate patient care across all age groups, recognize psychological and physical needs, and evaluate support systems. Identify signs of abuse or neglect and communicate effectively with patients.

Education and Experience:

• Completion of a two-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program and one year of clinical CAT scan training.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice in the state.
• Registered and certified by ARRT in radiology and CT.
