Job Summary

The CT Technologist performs computed tomography procedures following established guidelines and assists in training new technologists. They work under supervision of the lead/charge technologist and medical director, and will:

1. Perform all technical procedures as described in the Radiology Policy Manual.
2. Meet technical competency requirements.
3. Maintain effective relationships with staff.
4. Participate in education, safety initiatives, and quality activities.

Required Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography training and experience; CT experience preferred.
• Certifications include:
• Current BLS certification.
• Massachusetts BCEH CT license.
• Massachusetts BCEH license in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
• ARRT certification in CT (RT(CT)).
• ARRT certification in Radiography, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy.
• Hardware and software skills related to imaging equipment, hospital information systems, and communication devices.
