Patient-Centric Approach: Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
Preparation and Administration: Administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice. Continually monitor patient condition and respond to changes appropriately.
Equipment Operation: Prepare, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions as necessary. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
Imaging Procedures: Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Take corrective actions to address image quality issues, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of exam findings.
State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required.
Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.
$27.83 - $48.70 The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
