  • State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required.
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
  • Administer contrast media and/or medications within the scope of practice. Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
  • Prepare, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment malfunctions. Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment.
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures. Address image quality issues and ensure timely reporting of exam findings.

Job Description:

Weekend shifts scheduled at Alfond Center for Health campus, weekday shifts scheduled at Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care campus. Call coverage required.

The Work:
  • Patient-Centric Approach: Review patient history and physician's orders. Educate patients on procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.

You Have:

Compensation Information:

$27.83 - $48.70

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials.
