Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center in Round Rock, TX seeks a Multimodality Technologist to perform x-ray and CT exams in accordance with ARRT standards and department policies.

You will demonstrate anatomy knowledge, patient care, and radiographic principles while adhering to radiation safety policies. You will operate CT scanners, ensure high-quality scans for a wide patient age range, and support the Radiologist during invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
• 1 year experience as Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting.
• 1 year CT procedures experience.
• Graduate from accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Completion of CT and cross‑sectional anatomy courses.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• BLS certification per policy.
• ARRT(R) certification in Radiology and ARRT(CT).

Responsibilities

• Perform x-ray and CT exams per ARRT standards and department policies.
• Produce scans of diagnostic quality across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment efficiently.
• Complete quality scans quickly while meeting STAT/urgent demands and customer standards.
• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and ensure required supplies.
• Ensure CT equipment and department systems function properly.

Education

Associate's Degree

Graduate from an accredited approved program in Radiologic Technology

Completion of courses in computed tomography (CT) and cross-sectional anatomy

Current Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB)

Certified in Radiology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (R))

Certified in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (CT))

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
